Topic:	Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing - Multiple 10G circuits over fiber This presentation will cover the state of the art in Cisco's DWDM product is 80 10G systems over a single pair of fibers. 40 gigabits is also available and evolving. We will cover the principles of DWDM, it's application in IT backup systems, and how data may be directly connected to DWDM systems in the ONS 15454 MSTP product line.

Speaker:	Brent Bergen, Cisco Systems - Brent is an Education Specialist for Cisco systems. He writes optical training and maintains the Cisco optical training lab in Richardson, TX. Trainers world-wide can connect to this equipment over the internet to provide training, saving thousands of dollars per course in shipping and damage. He maintains courses in SONET, SDH and DWDM transport technologies.
