The Dallas / Fort Worth Cisco Users Group is a non-profit independent users group which meets on the first Wednesday of every month for the open exchange of technical information regarding the networking industry and Cisco products for the benefit of Cisco users.

Our meetings are free to attend - all we ask is that you register as a member and work directly with Cisco equipment.

	Come and explore the Cisco Nexus 7000 Series: the latest innovation platform for Data Center infrastructure. Cisco has updated the CCVP certification to include new technologies and lab exercises. A few of the tests will expire in a couple of months on July 26, 2008. Check out the link below for more details:

A security researcher has developed malicious rootkit software for Cisco's routers, a development that has placed increasing scrutiny on the routers that carry the majority of the Internet's traffic. Sebastian Muniz, a researcher with Core Security Technologies, developed the software, which he will unveil on May 22 at the EuSecWest conference in London.
